Stereo-recording at home from my external hard-disk drive, turning as it is working on a large file, steady with only few variations. Slightly processed.

Static-like noise recorded on an dusty modular synth. Good if you need some good old audio device noise background.

This sample was created by taping a razor blade to a contact microphone and allowing the blade to scrape against the edge of a record spinning on a turntable. The reverb was added in real time, so there's not a dry signal recording. Very reminiscent of tg's "hamburger lady" in some ways. Sounds like a human voice almost.

It's the 80s and i'm about half-way through making a punk/new wave party mix tape when my turntable starts repeating itself. Unwilling to to back and re-record the mix, i batted the needle around on the record for half a second and stopped the tape. This is the part that isn't recognizable as "hey, st. Peter!".

Simple lp noise with some effects.

45 rpm vinyl record scratch, consistent scratch and needle skip.

A continuous blank record groove running almost 22 minutes in length. This is from the unused backside of a 1961 test pressing made for a commercial release on the mgm record label. Nothing is looped or enhanced in any way. The final 28 seconds of the file is the stylus riding in the lock groove near the label. Simple vinyl record scratches using a turntable.

This is my recording of a vinyl record spinning with groove noise, crackles and pops.

Synthesized noises made to sound like vinyl crackle.

An emulation of the classic "rewind and stop" sound performed by djs to add tension before the drop. Made after tens of trials using fl studio's fruity scratcher on a sample i don't remember. A compilation of accidental recordings or recordings of terrible quality i made, with the pops and crackles and interesting parts all together. 20s of hiss dithered to 16bit 48khz. Level it much lower to maybe between -40dbfs and -80dbfs and you will have a nice dub or tape noise.

The end of a very old 45rpm vinyl - not looped - rec with r1 (+12 db gain).

Vinyl start noise in a loop at 80 bpm. Recorded, edited and mastered with logic pro x. Can be easily used as a percussion line in a hip hop production.
